If you’ve been on social media for a few days, you’ve probably seen a video claiming to show the  largest snake in the world. A Twitter user recently uploaded the images to the microblogging platform. On the screen, you see a long beach snake skeleton  in the cutscene. According to the video, Google Maps discovered a huge snake skeleton off the coast of France. The post broke the internet, and why not! The tweet also sparked speculation about Titanoboa, the largest species of snake  known to man. However, the image was not of a fossil snake  but of a gigantic art installation. , thanks to the publication, she is suddenly there.a renewed interest in Titanoboa , the prehistoric species of snake. According to the Smithsonian Institution in the United States, “This 2,500-pound, 48-foot-long prehistoric snake has been found near fossil plants, giant tortoises, and crocodiles dating back to the Paleocene era, more than 60 million years ago, when the world’s first known rainforest existed and dinosaurs no longer ruled the Earth. The institute also claims the snake emerged “from a  bed of fossils deep within the coal mine of Cerrejon in Colombia”.He adds that it is the “largest snake ever found”. “At 48 feet, this mega snake was longer than a school bus and was at the top of the monster-eating monster food chain,” the report added. Calling it  a “beast”, the institute adds that the snake was “capable of crushing and devouring huge prehistoric crocodiles”. In 2012, the institute  even made a documentary about Titanoboa snakes called “Titanoboa: Monster Snake”. The documentary premiered at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in 2012.
